Maiah's Family

Maiah is the daughter of former ACC basketball player James Mason and his wife, Yolonda Mason, an educator, entrepreneur and consultant.  Maiah was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina in a loving home and family of three siblings. 

Maiah has been raised with biblical principals and values that are rooted in faith, hope, and love.  In addition, she is raised to value responsibility, work ethics, and a growth mindset.

Maiah's upbringing has laid the  foundation for her to take on the responsibility and challenge of living her life to fulfill her God-given potential.  She understands that the greatest competition is within herself, and she is encouraged to be the best Maiah Mason she can be.
